I'm beginning to go through some of the same with my folks.Suzerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03529580138314011952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7538801849812784311.post-7091857082167400232011-03-23T15:11:11.058-07:002011-03-23T15:11:11.058-07:00I add my prayers.I add my prayers.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08235049965406944684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7538801849812784311.post-7274140983338018342011-03-23T07:33:32.550-07:002011-03-23T07:33:32.550-07:00Oh, sweetie. He's ten years younger than yours and thinking, but only vaguely, about moving to some kind of independent living in a place that would offer all care options. Of course, he doesn't want to get serious about it, and his partner (former wife; long story) is seven years younger, so she probably feels no personal urgency. But what you are describing is the future I foresee, sooner rather than later. I would so like him to be settled and have community before the sooner comes.

Such a hard road for both of you. I hope that you will walk it knowing that you have company in prayer and hope for many more good days than bad.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01898073277524952683noreply@blogger.com
