Thank you so much for this link--I had been thinking some similar things but didn't know how to phrase them well. I also liked what Christy of Dry Bones Dance said yesterday, quoted and linked by Kate at When I Was A Boy.
Fun to discover Grandmere Mimi as well, and her homophobia conversion posts were very apropos of what I have been dealing with in today's (last night's) post.
